Manchester

After 50+ lifetime trips to London I finally went to Manchester to see where all the best music in my life comes from. As a super bonus my table was next to Ross from The 1975 at a sushi restaurant in London the day before I went. 

I powered through and listened to The Smiths the whole weekend in Manchester and it made me really quite sad, which I maybe why I liked it so much when I was younger. I went to Morrissey's childhood house on King's Road, the Iron Bridge (which was filled with graffiti to The Smiths) and the Salford Lads Club.

I am not an emotional person but I felt very emotional this weekend in Manchester, it's amazing to see how devoted fans of The Smiths and Morrissey still are.

 I'm really getting into heavy pull ups

Johnny Marr is fantastic

 I am going to see him 2 nights in a row as part of his "California residency", very much looking forward to it. It's only now how much I have come to appreciate him for the music of The Smiths when for many years I was really only recognizing Morrissey.

Listen to The Smiths always makes me sad

but in a good way

I really like Sydney in the summer

It's warm and picturesque and the gelato is fantastic

Is "The Front Runner" a chance for Hugh Jackman to show his Wolverine Claws?

I sure hope so, then I will go see it.

The Nomad is most certainly not in the top 50 bars in the world
